Who is responsible for your information

Information we collect

• Order data: name, email address, billing details, payment status, invoice information, and a transaction identifier. Stripe processes card details. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code.
• Project data: App Store URL, target markets, competitors, project notes, and other information you provide for localization work.
• Messages: the content of emails you send, including attachments, timestamps, and contact details.
• Subscription data: your email address and consent record when you choose to join a mailing list.

How we use information

We use information to process purchases, deliver digital products, complete localization work, answer questions, and provide revisions. We also use it to protect checkout, prevent fraud, maintain accounting records, and comply with legal duties.

Website data helps us understand which pages and offers are useful. Subscription data is used to send the emails you requested. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the link in the message.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share one customer's app, competitors, or private research with another customer.

Service providers

A small number of providers process information when needed to operate LocalizeRank. These include Stripe for payments and fraud prevention, Vercel for website hosting, Google Workspace for email and document delivery, and Kit for email subscriptions. Google Analytics provides website measurement as described below.

We may disclose it when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of LocalizeRank, our customers, or others.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and actions such as viewing a page, selecting a plan, or beginning checkout. It may process your IP address, device and browser details, referral source, and page interactions. Google states that IP anonymisation is enabled by default in Google Analytics 4.

Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the website and understand demand. You can limit this collection with browser privacy controls, content blockers, or Google's Analytics opt-out tools.

Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga. Stripe-hosted checkout may use cookies or similar storage for security, fraud prevention, and checkout functionality. These technologies are controlled by the relevant provider. LocalizeRank does not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose described in this policy. Order and project records may be retained for accounting, revisions, dispute handling, and legal compliance. Mailing-list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to records needed to honour that request.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
